Stainless Steel Railings a great alternative for interior or exterior railings

March 4th, 2009

Stainless Steel Railings have gained in popularity in recent years as an option over standard railing systems such as wood or aluminum. Stainless Steel Railings offer a modern and elegent look to any exterior or interior railing project whether it be for a private residence or a commercial project. Our stainless steel railings are  made from 316 Marine Grade stainless which is the best grade of stainless steel on the marketplace and should be the only grade of stainless steel you should consider if installing our railings in coastal areas where salt air is present. The 316 Marine Grade is formulated to protect against rust and corrosion in salt air environments.

We offer three systems with the stainless steel railings which are glass, vertical round pickets and horizontal wire rope. Each of these systems come with two inch round polished stainless steel top and bottom rails and stainless steel vertical posts  We custom manufacture these railings to specific project requirments and deliver them direct to your door by FedEx.  It takes approximately 6 weeks to produce most orders. We ask that you or your contractor provide drawings of your project showing exact measurements and dimensions because we use these drawings in determining accuracy when producing your railings. Average costs per lineal foot of our stainless steel railing systems are $185.00 and this includes all hardware, stainless steel tubing and choice of glass, vertical pickets or horizontal wire rope. Any one of these  systems can be installed by the DIY but we recommend having your contractor install if possible. It normally takes one or two days to install depending on how complicated you project is. If your project is incorporating stairs particular attention has to made to the raise and fall and number of treads your stairs have. We ask that you count the number of treads and measure their depth and the raise of each.

We can offer site inspections and installation for our local marketplace at a cost of $60.00 per hour for site inspections and $120.00 per hour for installation. If your choice of systems is the horizontal wire rope and its a residential project we ask that you consult with your local building inspector prior to ordering as some restrictions apply based on the climability of this sytem in the residential building codes.
