Good morning Robert I received your generous gift the other day. Thank you. The deck was completed the end of last week. We used the Australian timber oil. My wife and I are very pleased with the look of the wood. We are very happy we purchased the cumaru rather than the traditional wood or composite used on decks. The deck stands out from any other. Although the contractor indicated it took him longer than normal because of the density of the wood, he was very pleased with how it turned out. We just went out and purchased some patio furniture and gazebo for the deck. My wife wants to clean the deck and take a few pictures. At that time she will upload the pictures on to your website. I would recommend the wood and your courteous assistance to anyone.

The choice is clear. Hardwood decking is here to stay and provides much more when it comes to strength and beauty for your next decking or patio project. Mainly harvested out of  South America the available species include Ipe or what is commonly referred to as Brazilian Walnut.  Ipe has a dark rich color and the wood itself is mainly defect free. Some other popular species are Tigerwood which has an amazing red color with dark streak accents and Cumaru which is commonly referred to as Brazilian Teak.  All material can be FSC certified for projects requesting green certification.  It has been many years with little to no alternative to wood decking species but that has changed very rapidly over the last few years. Now instead of options such as Pressure Treated or Cedar wood products the Exotic or what is commonly referred to as  Tropical hardwoods are making more and more inroads as the preferred choice for consumers when it comes to wood decking. Because our tiles have a patented design allowing for connection on all four sides of every tile, any number of design patterns may be created by incorporating one or more of the tile Styles. Designs can be further customized and enhanced by incorporating more than one of the Hardwoods (in any, or all, of the tile styles) into the pattern creating additional color and texture variations.
