The wood post anchoring system is the first of its kind when it comes to the application of fastening a wood post to deck or porch surface. The Titan has a long center tube that is placed within the center of the wood post by drilling into the core of the post with a hole saw and then fastened with galvanized lags from the underside of the post anchor. Once this is done you simply fasten the wood post with the anchor attached to any location on your deck surface. Make sure you nail in some 2×6 or 2×8 wood blocks between your deck joists so you can obtain maximum holding strength.
