Cutek Green Wood Preservative
Wood that is to be coated with Cutek Green should be clean and dry and ideally with a residual moisture content of no higher than 17%. Do not apply Cutek Green to exterior wood if its likely to rain within 24 hours of application.
Cold temperatures may increase the viscosity of Cutek Green, tending to slow down the rate of diffusion. Storing containers in a warm place immediately prior to application will help alleviate this problem. Because Cutek Green dries by diffusing into the wood substrate, application of a second coat of Cutek Green too quickly after the first coat in cold weather will significantly delay the penetration and drying of the finished coating. If this inadvertently occurs, remove the access Cutek Green from the surface with a rag will promote faster drying. Alternatively, the application of the second coat of Cutek Green may be delayed for up to three months in cold weather, with no detrimental effect to the effectiveness of the original coating.

Tigerwood Decking
Tigerwood can be a difficult wood to finish. The natural characteristics of the wood do not allow finish product to take very well to the surface. I have discovereed a product called “Woodrich” and its color is formulated to the natural pigments of Tigerwood. The product is called “Hardwood Wiping Stain” and it comes in 1 gallon and 5 galllon sizes. I live in Canada and I put this on my Tigerwood decking and it worked very well. The product is a “one coat” application and all access must be wipped off as Tigerwood is very dense and any access product sitting on the top of the wood will simply dry and not penetrate the woods surface so its recommended that you back brush or wipe off any access product with a brush or rage. The product must be put on in temperatures above 60 degrees or 15 C. This product seems to last longer than other competing products and I have been told its because the stain is pigmented to the natural color of Tigerwood thus it takes longer for the UV light to break down the surface color. I re apply this product every other season and most preservatives have to be applied every year.
I purchased this product through www.myocstore.com and the company is located in Canada but they shipped me my order i
