Urimat waterless urinals displayed at the 2011 show with great success. Visitors to the show stopped by the booth and were delighted to see how a waterless urinal functions and learn how Urimat waterless urinals are much different from their competitors. Urimat uses no oil in the process of eliminating odor coming from the drain lines. Urimat uses a patented technology where by the siphon is primmed with water and has a counter balanced hydrostatic float located in the centre of the siphon and when urine enters the siphon from the urinal the float raises up against the top of the rubber gasket located at the top of the siphon sealing off any possibility of odors coming from the drain lines below. All other waterless urinals use a oil based substance which is poured into the their siphon which is filled with water and this creates the barrier in attempting to eliminate the odor coming from the drain lines. The problem being is over time oil will dissipate with use and if not carefully monitored which includes regular filling of oil into the siphon you usually end up having odor occur first because you can not visually see when the oil gets low within the siphon.
Otter Creek is the Eastern Canada and United States distributor and product is stocked in their Ontario warehouse facility and can ship in a timely and cost effective manner.
